Garreth Duncan joins HGF as a Partner in the London office
HGF is pleased to announce the appointment of Garreth Duncan who will be joining the firm as a Partner on 1st April 2026. Garreth joins our Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Group within HGF and his appointment further supports our ambitious growth strategy across the UK and Europe.
Garreth has considerable expertise across a range of chemical technologies, including pharmaceuticals, food chemistry, agricultural chemistry, petrochemicals, polymer chemistry and chemical processes.
A particular focus of Garreth’s expertise and practice is the pharmaceutical sector and he specialises in protecting new chemical entities, salts, polymorphs, formulations (including advanced drug delivery technologies), manufacturing processes, combination therapies, dosage regimes and medical uses. Garreth also has extensive experience Supplementary Protection Certificates (European patent term extensions) and his arrival further strengthens our offering in this specialist area of practice.
